New Delhi, Delhi, India, December 2024 – Jitendra Singh has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer – Airline and Route Development at GMR Group, a global infrastructure leader. In this strategic role, Jitendra will oversee airline marketing and route development for all GMR airports, reinforcing their position as premier global aviation hubs.
Jitendra brings over 15 years of expertise in the aviation and airport management industry. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President & Head of Airline Marketing and Route Development at Delhi International Airport Limited, where he successfully transformed Delhi Airport into a hub airport. His efforts contributed to bringing in new airlines, launching additional flights, and expanding connectivity to new destinations, driving significant growth in passenger traffic.
Before this, Jitendra held the role of Associate Vice President – Operations (AOCC & Slot) at GMR Group, managing airport capacity, slot allocation, and operational resources. His strategic management skills ensured seamless operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), handling its ever-increasing traffic efficiently.
