Reading, England, United Kingdom, September 2025 – Jo Thompson has started a new role as Chief Business Officer at Indigo Networks. In her new position, she will lead the company’s business strategy, oversee operational excellence, and ensure the right processes, systems, and performance frameworks are in place to drive sustainable growth and long-term vision.
Before taking on this role, Jo served as Director of HR & Central Services at Indigo Networks, where she oversaw HR, IT, facilities, and other central functions. She played a pivotal role in driving business value through IT strategy, organisational design, cultural transformation, and special projects that enhanced operational capabilities.
Previously, Jo was Director of Central Services (Interim) at Doocey Multi Utilities, where she helped establish a standalone central services function and guided the organisation through significant change. She also contributed to business strategy and oversaw cross-departmental implementation projects.
Earlier, Jo held a leadership role at Faradion Limited, where she was part of the executive team with full accountability for people and central functions. She ensured that business strategy aligned with people and culture initiatives, reinforcing long-term growth and capability building.
Her longest tenure was with Fulcrum Group, where she spent over a decade in progressive HR leadership roles. Rising from Executive Assistant to Director of People & Culture Operations, she led the HR function across three sites, championed cultural transformation, and created high-performance structures that positioned the group for long-term success.
