Crewe, England, United Kingdom, June 2024 – Joe Harris has joined Radius as the new Director of Talent Acquisition. Harris is excited to lead the talent acquisition efforts for Radius, a global business that delivers best-in-class sustainable mobility, connectivity, and technology solutions.
Harris’s most recent role was at easyJet, where he served as the Talent Acquisition Manager for three years. In this leadership role, he was responsible for talent acquisition strategy and recruitment fulfillment across the airline’s corporate functions, managing a team of 13 recruitment professionals. Harris oversaw permanent, fixed-term, and leadership hiring, delivering over 1,000 hires annually. His responsibilities included budget management, workforce planning, early careers hiring, and managing the relationship with the MSP for interim and temporary hires.
Prior to easyJet, Harris worked at Serco for over four years, starting as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and advancing to Talent Acquisition Manager. At Serco, he managed hiring and leadership recruitment for the Group, UK, and Europe functions, delivering over 300 hires annually. He developed strong relationships with senior leaders, implemented a blended executive recruiting model, and was accountable for end-to-end resourcing across various professional positions.
Harris also held the position of Senior Resourcing Advisor at National Highways, where he led resourcing for the Information Technology Professional & Technical Solutions directorate. He collaborated with HR teams and functional managers to understand recruitment needs and was responsible for attraction, assessment, and offer management across all levels of the business.
Earlier in his career, Harris served as a Lead Recruiter at Capita Pension Solutions, focusing on technology hires across the UK and Europe. He also worked at Severn Trent as a Recruitment Business Partner and Resourcing Specialist, managing recruitment for the Customer, Technology, and Innovation function.
Harris started his recruitment career as a Technology Recruitment Specialist at AAtom Recruitment and Experis. Before transitioning to recruitment, he held roles in sales and fitness instruction, and began his professional journey as an apprentice footballer with Swansea City Football Club.
