Greater London, England, United Kingdom, January 2026 – ZRG has announced the appointment of John Hetherington as Managing Director – Global CHRO Practice, strengthening its leadership bench as the global talent advisory firm continues to expand its data-driven executive search and human capital consulting capabilities. In his new role, John will advise boards, CEOs and CHROs on people and culture strategy, while designing advanced data-led solutions across executive search, culture consultancy, interim leadership and embedded recruitment models.
John joins ZRG after nearly six years with Leathwaite, where he most recently served as Director – Global HR Practice, partnering closely with C-suite leaders to deliver people strategy, executive search and human capital advisory solutions across global markets. His tenure was marked by building international client partnerships and advising CHROs and leadership teams across diverse industry sectors.
Earlier, he led Leathwaite’s Asia Pacific operations as APAC Regional Head for nearly six years, overseeing regional brand positioning, client development and executive search delivery across seven countries with highly diverse cultural and business environments. He also held leadership roles at PARKER FITZGERALD LIMITED and built consulting expertise across international assignments.
John began his professional journey in executive search and recruitment with Hudson, following an early career as a Modern Languages teacher at Brighton College, reflecting a uniquely diverse leadership background spanning education, consulting and executive search.
