Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, February 2026 — Jon A. has been promoted to Director – People Services & Workforce Systems at AMES Australia, marking a significant milestone in his nearly decade-long leadership journey with the organisation. In this expanded role, he will lead the enterprise transformation of people services and workforce systems, strengthening workforce governance, compliance, and digitally enabled service delivery models.
In his new mandate, Jon A. is responsible for HR Operations, Payroll, Recruitment, Work Health & Safety (WHS), Volunteers, and Learning & Development. He sets the strategic direction for modern, integrated, and AI-enabled people services while providing trusted advisory support to the Chief People Officer, Executive leadership team, and Board, and serving as Deputy to the CPO when required.
Prior to this promotion, Jon A. served as Senior Manager HR at AMES Australia for close to a decade, where he aligned HR strategy with organisational priorities, driving innovation, cultural transformation, and customer-centric people solutions. He translated business objectives into actionable HR initiatives across recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and learning & development, enhancing overall organisational performance.
Earlier, at EACH, he held leadership roles including Acting General Manager Human Resources and National Manager: Human Resources Operations, where he led high-performing HR teams and ensured full compliance across talent management, industrial relations, payroll, and performance frameworks. He also played a pivotal role in implementing a new HRIS platform, significantly improving process efficiency and employee experience.
Jon began his global leadership exposure with ekit as Global HR / Customer Service Manager, where he helped establish Boston operations during the company’s U.S. expansion, overseeing workforce design, recruitment, and HR frameworks to ensure seamless cross-regional operations.
