Cheadle, England, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Jonathan Robbins has been appointed the Head of Human Resources Business Partnering at Fortescue, where he will spearhead HR strategies and initiatives to drive talent optimization and business alignment within the organization.
Jonathan joined Fortescue in August 2024 as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where he contributed to refining HR frameworks and supporting organizational objectives.
Prior to Fortescue, Jonathan held HR leadership roles at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, including HR Business Partner – Corporate Functions and HR Business Partner – Manufacturing Operations, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing HR operations across key business units.
At DCS Group (UK) Ltd, Jonathan served as Group Human Resources Business Partner, leading HR initiatives to streamline processes and enhance talent management. He also brought his expertise to NFU Mutual as an HR Business Partner, focusing on employee engagement and workforce strategy.
Jonathan’s experience spans across diverse industries, having held impactful roles at organizations such as Morrisons, Martin James Network, and Wienerberger UK, where he developed HR policies, drove organizational transformation, and supported leadership teams. His early career includes valuable experience in HR operations at Cranswick Convenience Foods and Grant Thornton UK LLP, where he honed his skills in employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
