His extensive background in HR across multiple industries will contribute to driving FUSO Glass’s organizational growth and transformation.
Prior to joining FUSO Glass India Pvt Ltd, Dr. Mahendran served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Bonfiglioli for 4 years and 3 months, where he was responsible for leadership development and talent management at the Chennai plant. His role focused on aligning HR strategies with business goals, and he successfully implemented key initiatives to enhance workforce productivity and employee engagement.
Before his tenure at Bonfiglioli, he worked as the Head of Employee Relations at Tata Consumer Products for 1 year and 3 months, where he handled employee relations and talent management strategies across Andhra Pradesh. His experience at Tata was marked by his ability to foster a collaborative work environment, managing employee grievances, and optimizing performance management systems.
Dr. Mahendran also held the position of Plant Human Resources Manager at SL Corporation for over 7 years, where he oversaw the HR operations in Chennai. His role encompassed a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws. His leadership in HR at SL Corporation helped streamline HR processes, improve staff retention, and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
