Joramco, the Amman-based MRO facility, has appointed Stephan Klose as the new Chief Operations Officer. With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Klose brings a profound expertise to Joramco, having previously held several senior roles, including VP of Maintenance and Engineering at Saudi Royal Aviation.
Before his latest role, Klose served as the Executive Vice President of Engineering at a VVIP Operator in Saudi Arabia since April 2019. His prior positions include significant stints at Etihad Airways, where he was involved in various capacities, from VP Technical Operations to SVP Maintenance and Engineering for Alitalia as part of strategic projects.
In addition to his role at Etihad, Klose has been pivotal in managing operations at the San Antonio River Authority and the City of Pascagoula, bringing a comprehensive mix of strategy, operational acumen, and technical skills to each role. His career also includes leadership positions at SR Technics Group as Head of Operations in Bahrain and earlier roles at Transafrik and Swiss International Air Lines.
