Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, December 2025 – Josh L. has started a new position as Vice President, Human Resources at Big-D Construction, taking on the responsibility of leading corporate HR operations for one of the leading national commercial general contractors in the United States.
In his new role, Josh serves as the functional corporate head of HR operations for an organization with over 1,800 associates and approximately $3.6 billion in annual revenue, driving people strategy, workforce governance, leadership development, and organizational capability across Big-D Construction’s national operations.
Before assuming his current role, Josh served as Director of Human Resources at Big-D Construction, where he provided HR leadership for large-scale construction operations and strengthened people processes that supported business expansion and employee engagement.
Earlier, he spent over six years with Okland Construction as Director of Human Resources, leading HR operations for a national commercial general contractor with more than 1,200 associates and multi-billion-dollar revenues. His work focused on building scalable people systems, leadership frameworks, and workforce planning capabilities.
Josh also served as Division Human Resources Manager at AgReserves, Inc., where he led HR operations for a global agribusiness employing more than 2,000 associates. Prior to that, he was Senior Human Resources Operations Partner at Halliburton, overseeing regional HR operations for a global energy services organization with tens of thousands of employees worldwide.
His earlier career includes HR leadership roles at Integra Financial Services, financial services experience at Wachovia (a Wells Fargo company), and service with the U.S. Forest Service, where he served in various fire service leadership capacities.
