Zurich, Switzerland, January 2025 – Juan Francisco Ferrandez has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at ANAVIA. In his new role, Juan will oversee financial strategies and operations, ensuring robust fiscal management and supporting the company’s mission to lead in VTOL systems development. With a strong background in finance and operations, Juan’s leadership will contribute to ANAVIA’s continued innovation and market expansion.
Before joining ANAVIA, Juan Francisco Ferrandez served as Accountant and Controller at BIL Suisse in Zurich, Switzerland, where he managed financial records, enhanced cost efficiency, and ensured compliance with IFRS and Swiss GAAP standards. He played a key role in improving reporting accuracy and streamlining financial operations.
Earlier, Juan held the position of Project Manager – Economic Development with the Buenos Aires City Government, driving investments in creative industries and fostering economic ecosystems. His responsibilities included overseeing tax incentives and promoting industry development for sectors like design, audiovisual, and arts.
Juan also served as a Senior Analyst of Economic Concentrations at Comisión Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia, where he contributed to regulatory oversight, policy development, and analysis of mergers and acquisitions to promote competition and prevent monopolistic practices in Argentina.
At Sudamerica Motos SA, Juan demonstrated his entrepreneurial acumen as Administrative and Accounting Manager, where he founded and advanced a motorcycle parts import and distribution venture in Argentina.
