Mahesana, Gujarat, India, February 2026 — Kamlesh Mehta has started a new role as Head HR at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS). In this role, he is responsible for leading the company’s human resources and industrial relations agenda, supporting workforce stability, compliance, and people-led performance across operations.
Kamlesh brings nearly three decades of hands-on experience spanning HR, Industrial Relations, Administration, Government Liaisoning, and Large Team Strength (LTS) environments, with deep expertise in union negotiations, statutory compliance, and HR transformation within large manufacturing setups.
Before rejoining AIS, Kamlesh served as Head HR at AYM Syntex Limited, where he led HR, IR, administration, union handling, contractual workforce management, and CSR initiatives. Earlier in 2024, he was Vice President – HR & IR at Modern Insulators Ltd, followed by a tenure as General Manager – HR at Banco Products (India) Ltd, overseeing HR, IR, administration, and government liaisoning.
His earlier leadership experience includes Head HR & IR at Hettich India Pvt. Ltd. and a prior stint at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) as Head HR & IR between 2017 and 2020, giving him strong institutional familiarity with AIS operations. Kamlesh also spent close to eight years at GHCL Limited, progressing from Senior Manager – HR to Assistant General Manager – Industrial Relations, and held HR & IR roles at Alok Industries Ltd, Modern Petrofils, and other manufacturing organizations.
