A seasoned tech leader with nearly two decades of experience, Karandeep has built a formidable track record across leading technology firms. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Product Officer at Brex, where he was instrumental in scaling product innovation and business growth. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership roles at Meta (formerly Facebook), including Vice President of Business Products and Head of Workplace, overseeing platforms that impacted billions of users and millions of businesses worldwide.

Before Meta, Karandeep spent over 15 years at Microsoft, where he led product management and platform development for Microsoft Azure, playing a key role in the cloud platform’s exponential growth. His work included shaping user experiences, scaling cloud services, building global payment systems, and fostering strategic ecosystem partnerships.

At Character.AI, Karandeep will lead the organization into its next chapter—focusing on platform expansion, product innovation, and monetization strategies that position the company as a front-runner in AI-powered conversational technology. His deep expertise in enterprise growth, product-market alignment, and AI platform development makes him a pivotal choice for this role.
