Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, August 2024 – Karen E. Rice has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Fusable. In her new role, Karen will lead HR strategies, focusing on cultural transformation, talent management, and organizational development.
Before joining Fusable, Karen served as the Chief People Officer on an interim consulting basis at Five Star Parks and Attractions. During her tenure, she was responsible for driving the hiring of a long-term HR leader and implementing performance management systems in a rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization.
Prior to this, Karen was the Chief Human Resources Officer at CompuCom for over three years. In this role, she was pivotal in redesigning the global HR structure, managing a significant transition after the company’s acquisition, and leading initiatives across multiple countries, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and India.
Karen also held significant roles at AmerisourceBergen, including Business Transformation Change Management Lead and Vice President of Human Resources. Her leadership was integral in managing large-scale business transformations, talent reviews, and employee engagement across the organization.
In addition to her roles at Five Star Parks and Attractions, CompuCom, and AmerisourceBergen, Karen has held various HR leadership positions at Accenture. Her experience includes leading global HR reporting, supporting HR service delivery, and managing HR operations across multiple divisions. These experiences have equipped her with a strong foundation in strategic HR management, change leadership, and business transformation.
