Texas, United States, December 2024 – Kari Humphrey has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at MOREgroup, bringing over two decades of experience in human resources leadership, organizational development, and operational excellence. She will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, and enhancing the employee experience at MOREgroup.
Kari joins MOREgroup from Petmate, where she served as Chief Human Resources Officer for over five years. At Petmate, she led comprehensive HR strategies, including talent management, leadership development, and operational excellence. Her achievements include driving significant cost savings, navigating HR due diligence during company sales, and implementing lean principles across manufacturing systems to boost productivity and quality.

Prior to her tenure at Petmate, Kari was the President of NexGen HR LLC, where she spent nearly nine years providing strategic HR consulting services to various organizations. She restructured HR frameworks, introduced training programs, and supported startups with HR processes. Her role also included acting as interim HR Vice President for a consumer products manufacturer and executing large-scale talent acquisition projects.
Earlier in her career, Kari held several senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Human Capital at Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, and Vice President of Human Resources at Allen Edmonds Shoe Corporation. She also contributed as Human Resources Manager at Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company, where she oversaw HR operations for a large, globally recognized brand.
