Riga, Latvia, October 2024 – Karina Ignatovica has stepped into the role of Head of People at xpate, bringing her vast experience in HR management and operations to lead the company’s human resources strategy. Karina will oversee talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention strategies, and the development of HR policies that align with xpate’s mission to empower fintech and digital SMEs.
Prior to her promotion, Karina served as People Operations Lead at xpate, where she played a key role in refining HR strategies and processes for the fast-growing fintech.
Before joining xpate, Karina spent over ten years at Evolution, most recently as HR Business Partner to Operations Latvia, where she spearheaded initiatives in recruitment, turnover analysis, and employee engagement using the Gallup methodology. She also served as Operations Manager at Evolution, overseeing operational excellence for a team of over 450 employees and managing key client relationships and service delivery.
Earlier in her career at Evolution, Karina held roles including Academy Lead and Academy Trainer, where she developed training programs and led recruitment efforts that shaped the company’s talent pipeline.
