Kaduna, Nigeria, November 2024 – Courage Simon has taken on the role of Head of People Operations at Tomato Jos, a leading agricultural production company. In this capacity, he will oversee all aspects of the company’s people operations and corporate services, driving HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance, ensuring a positive workplace culture at Tomato Jos.
Before joining Tomato Jos, Courage was Head of Human Resources at Tomato Jos for over a year, leading the HR team and implementing key people strategies that boosted talent management and business performance.
Courage previously worked as Group Head of Human Resources at Value Seeds Limited, where he successfully established the company’s first-ever HR department. His initiatives reduced attrition and improved employee retention by fostering a strong corporate culture.
Earlier, he served as Head of Human Resources at the Royal Institute in Nigeria, driving HR management practices across the organization. Courage’s background also includes roles at Fosad Consulting, where he honed his skills in talent management, employee relations, and HR consulting across multiple sectors.
