Gosford, New South Wales, Australia, February 2025 – Karina Ninness has been promoted to Chief People and Culture Officer at ORS Group. In this role, she will oversee the company’s people strategy, talent management, and workplace culture initiatives, supporting ORS Group’s continued expansion and commitment to employee experience.
Ninness has been a key part of ORS Group for over five years, holding leadership positions in HR and employee experience. Prior to this promotion, she was General Manager – People and Culture, where she spearheaded organizational development, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Before that, she served as Employee Experience Manager, focusing on enhancing HR processes, talent strategies, and workforce well-being.
Before stepping into HR leadership, Ninness worked in finance roles at ORS Group, serving as Payroll Accountant, where she streamlined financial processes and ensured compliance with payroll regulations. She also spent five years at Bishop Collins Chartered Accountants as an Accountant – Business Services, managing taxation and financial reporting for a diverse client base.
Earlier in her career, Ninness held administrative and financial leadership roles at Fence In Fenced Out, where she managed operations and bookkeeping for over 12 years. She also worked at Centrelink as a Technical Support Officer for over seven years, focusing on compliance and client service operations.
Beyond her leadership in HR and finance, Ninness built her early career in customer service and banking, working with H&R Block, The Door Factory, Commonwealth Bank, ING DIRECT, and Westpac in key operational roles. Her diverse experience in financial services, administration, and people management has equipped her with a strong foundation for her leadership in HR and people strategy.
