Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, October 2025 – Simbus Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of supply chain and data innovation solutions, has announced the appointment of Karthik Narayanan as Vice President – Human Resources. In this leadership role, Karthik will be responsible for driving the company’s people strategy, organizational development, and leadership capability building as Simbus continues to expand its footprint in the digital transformation and data engineering space.

With over two decades of HR leadership experience, Karthik brings deep expertise in global HR operations, people experience, and business transformation across technology-driven enterprises. His proven ability to build high-performance cultures and align HR strategies with organizational goals positions him to play a pivotal role in shaping Simbus’s next phase of growth and innovation.

Before joining Simbus Technologies, Karthik Narayanan served as Chief Human Resources Officer at EXtream.AI, where he was instrumental in building global people strategies and enabling leadership growth for a rapidly scaling AI organization. His work focused on strengthening culture, compliance, and talent frameworks across international operations.

Prior to that, Karthik held the position of Associate Director – Human Resources at Cloud Destinations, a Silicon Valley-based digital transformation and data engineering company. There, he partnered with leadership teams to design scalable HR models and drive employee engagement during a phase of rapid organizational expansion.

Karthik also served as Senior Manager, Global HR Operations at Uniphore, a global leader in conversational AI. At Uniphore, he played a key role in managing HR operations for global teams and led initiatives that enhanced people experience, productivity, and alignment with the company’s innovation-driven culture.

Earlier, Karthik spent nearly nine years at Trimble Inc., where he progressed from Assistant Manager to Manager – Human Resources (People Experience) – Global. During his tenure, he managed end-to-end HR operations, learning and development, and global employee engagement for a workforce spanning multiple countries. His contributions were integral to building an inclusive and agile culture within the organization.

In the early years of his career, Karthik held HR leadership roles across multiple organizations, where he developed expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and strategic HR management, laying a strong foundation for his later global leadership roles.

He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership.
