United States, October 2025 – Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a global research-led organization focused on specialty and branded products, has appointed Kathy McKenna as Senior Director, Human Resources. In her new role, Kathy will lead HR strategy and operations across Glenmark’s U.S. business, focusing on talent development, organizational effectiveness, and advancing Glenmark’s culture of innovation and excellence.
Kathy McKenna brings over 25 years of diverse HR leadership experience across major pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations, demonstrating a consistent record of enabling business transformation through people-centered strategies.
Before joining Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Kathy served as Senior Director of Human Resources at CSL Vifor, where she led employee relations strategy, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational restructuring initiatives. Her leadership was instrumental in strengthening engagement and driving alignment between business goals and talent strategies across multiple business units.
Prior to CSL Vifor, she worked with WuXi AppTec as a senior HR leader, supporting operations in Cranbury, New Jersey. Before that, Kathy held a five-year tenure as Director of Human Resources at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, where she built scalable HR frameworks and led people development programs to support organizational growth in the generics sector.
Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Human Resources at Par Pharmaceutical and spent over 14 years at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she held roles of increasing responsibility, including Associate Director and Director of Human Resources. Her contributions during this period helped shape HR processes across multiple sites, enhance leadership capability, and integrate HR systems post-merger.
In addition to her corporate experience, Kathy has served as Adjunct Faculty at Marist College, teaching the SHRM Certification course, and previously ran her own HR consulting practice, McKenna HR Solutions, where she provided organizational development and policy design expertise to emerging manufacturing firms.
Kathy holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR), equipping her with a strong foundation in strategic HR, labor relations, and organizational behavior.
