Katie succeeds into this expanded leadership position after serving as Chief People Officer at Harvey, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s people strategy during a critical phase of growth.
As Chief Operating Officer, Katie will oversee Harvey’s operational strategy, execution, and organizational scaling as the company continues to accelerate adoption of its domain-specific AI platform across global legal and professional services firms. Her appointment reflects Harvey’s focus on building a strong operational foundation to support rapid innovation and global expansion.
Katie brings deep experience in building high-performance cultures and scaling global organizations. Prior to joining Harvey, she spent more than a decade at HubSpot, where she most recently served as Chief People Officer. During her tenure, she led global recruitment, people operations, learning and development, culture, and employee experience, positioning people strategy as a core competitive advantage as HubSpot scaled worldwide.
At HubSpot, Katie was instrumental in launching the company’s diversity and inclusion programs, including the annual publication of diversity data, and driving initiatives that significantly increased the representation of women in leadership. Under her leadership, HubSpot earned multiple recognitions as a top workplace, including honors from Fortune, Glassdoor, Comparably, the Boston Business Journal, and the Boston Globe.
Earlier in her career, Katie held senior leadership roles at Exos (Athletes’ Performance and Core Performance), where she led global marketing and corporate partnerships, as well as at Glover Park Group and Booz Allen Hamilton, building a strong foundation across strategy, communications, and operational leadership.
With her rare blend of people leadership, culture-building expertise, and operational acumen, Katie is expected to play a critical role in guiding Harvey through its next stage of growth as it continues to transform how legal and professional services firms work with AI.
