Huntington Beach, California, United States, February 2026 – Mercury Insurance has appointed Katie Sartori as Director of Corporate Audit, strengthening its leadership in governance, risk oversight, and internal audit excellence.
Katie brings over 15 years of extensive audit and financial assurance experience. She joins Mercury following her role as Managing Director at CNM LLP, where she led advisory engagements and strengthened audit practices across client portfolios.
Prior to CNM LLP, Katie spent more than 15 years at KPMG US, progressing through multiple leadership roles including Audit Managing Director, Audit Senior Manager, and Audit Manager. During her tenure, she led complex audit engagements, managed cross-functional teams, and worked with organizations across diverse industries to enhance financial reporting integrity, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. Her long-standing experience at KPMG reflects deep expertise in audit strategy, governance frameworks, and risk management.
Katie began her career at Patelco Credit Union, building early exposure to financial services operations, which laid the foundation for her strong financial governance career trajectory.
In her new role at Mercury Insurance, Katie will oversee corporate audit functions, ensuring strong internal control environments, compliance standards, and operational risk management as the organization continues to grow nationally.
