New Delhi, India, July 2025 — Kaushik (Caesar) DasGupta has stepped into a new leadership position as Managing Partner – India & APAC Lead, Consumer & Media at Odgers, marking a significant milestone in his executive search career. In this elevated role, Kaushik will drive the firm’s growth strategy across the Asia-Pacific region for the consumer and media sectors, while spearheading client relationships, market development, and leadership mandates in India.
Kaushik has been associated with Odgers since 2020, steadily rising through senior positions including Partner – Consumer, Retail and Digital & Media, Lead – Consumer, Retail and Media Practices, and most recently, Partner & Lead – Consumer, Retail and Media – Asia-Pacific. Over the past five years, he has played a critical role in building Odgers’ domain expertise, thought leadership, and trusted advisory reputation across markets.
Before joining Odgers, Kaushik was a Partner at Accord Group India, where he spent six years executing high-impact CXO-level searches and building enduring client partnerships. He also previously served as Director and Consultant at GKR Daulet-Singh, the former India partners of Odgers Berndtson, which laid the foundation for his early journey in retained executive search.
Kaushik’s experience spans more than two decades across top-tier firms such as TRANSEARCH International, Gilbert Tweed Associates, and J Thomas & Co., where he held progressive roles from associate to leadership. His areas of focus have included consumer goods, retail, digital, education, and private equity, where he has advised both Indian and multinational companies on strategic talent solutions.
