New Delhi, Delhi, India, October 2025 — Kaustav Mukherjee has joined Oliver Wyman as a Partner in the Energy & Natural Resources practice, bringing decades of leadership experience across the global energy sector. In his new role, Kaustav will focus on helping clients navigate the evolving energy and natural resources landscape with innovative solutions and transformative strategies.
Kaustav previously served as President of the Power Foundation of India, where he played an instrumental role in advancing sustainable energy initiatives and fostering industry collaboration.
Before that, he spent more than 12 years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as Senior Partner & Managing Director and Head of Energy Practice, India, advising leading global and domestic energy organizations on large-scale transformation, strategy, and growth.
Earlier, Kaustav was with A.T. Kearney for over a decade, where he rose to Partner & Vice President and led the Energy Practice across Asia Pacific. His career began with SLB (Schlumberger) as Global Product Line Manager, where he managed the P&L of a $100 million business line across multiple geographies including Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and North America.
With this extensive background in strategy consulting and global energy operations, Kaustav is set to leverage his expertise at Oliver Wyman to strengthen its Energy & Natural Resources practice and deliver value-driven impact to clients worldwide.
