Bradford, England, United Kingdom – October 2024 – Morrisons has promoted Kay Marie Ashley to Head of People for Finance, Technology, Property, Supply Chain & Marketing. In this new role, Kay will oversee the strategic people initiatives and HR management across multiple core functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business strategy.
Kay Marie Ashley has been with Morrisons for over 12 years, steadily progressing through various HR roles. Most recently, she served as Senior People Manager – Commercial, Central Convenience Wholesale & Online, where she was responsible for managing HR functions across several business units. Before this, she held the position of Senior People Manager – Commercial, focusing on HR strategies for commercial functions.
Prior to that, Kay was the Regional People Manager – Retail, where she managed people operations for retail stores across the Manchester region. Her earlier roles at Morrisons include People Manager – Marketing & Customer, People Manager – Manufacturing, and HR Manager – Logistics, where she developed strong expertise in HR management across different departments. She initially joined Morrisons as an HR Assistant in Logistics, where she built a solid foundation in human resources.
