New York City, United States, March 2025 – Kayla Dowd has been appointed as Director, Portfolio Talent at Percheron Capital, a leading private equity firm specializing in essential services businesses. In her new role, Kayla will focus on developing and executing talent strategies to optimize portfolio company leadership teams, enhance talent acquisition and retention, and support overall value creation within Percheron’s investment portfolio.
Prior to joining Percheron Capital, Kayla served as Vice President, Consumer & Retail Practices at Raines International, where she led executive searches and talent advisory initiatives for prominent consumer brands. In her nearly three-year tenure, Kayla significantly strengthened leadership teams by placing top talent into pivotal roles.

Before her time at Raines International, Kayla held roles of increasing responsibility at Heidrick & Struggles, progressing from an Analyst in the Associate Development Program to an Associate within the Consumer Markets Practice. Here, she managed numerous executive search projects, demonstrating deep expertise in identifying and placing senior executives to drive strategic outcomes for clients across consumer industries.
Early in her career, Kayla gained valuable insights into executive search as an Intern at Heidrick & Struggles in Philadelphia and honed her research capabilities through an internship in Development Research at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
