Corkins brings to Protos Security a comprehensive background in human resources, marked by over two decades of experience across various industries. Her career trajectory showcases a deep commitment to strategic HR leadership, employee-centered practices, and fostering engaging workplace cultures.
Before joining Protos Security, Corkins served as the Human Resources Director at Universal Health Corporation for nine months, where she was lauded for her strategic HR leadership and focus on employee engagement and culture. This role was preceded by a short stint as a self-employed HR consultant, further honing her ability to adapt and provide targeted HR solutions.
Corkins’ substantial HR expertise was developed through significant roles, including as Senior Human Resources Manager at Marvin, where she dedicated over a year to labor and employment law, training and development, and performance management. Her tenure at Spectrum Brands, Inc, as a Senior HR Manager for over five years, and at Titan America for nearly eight years in a similar capacity, underscores her proficiency in managing complex HR functions and leading culture change initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Corkins made impactful contributions at US Foods as a Training/Safety Specialist and HR Representative, and at Forefront Technologies, where she navigated the challenges of a start-up environment with a focus on performance management and employee engagement.
