Innisfail, Alberta, Canada, September 2025 – Keri Lee has been appointed as Vice President, People & Culture at EQUS, marking a significant step in her nearly six-year journey with the cooperative. In this new role, she will be responsible for shaping EQUS’ people strategy, enhancing workplace culture, and leading initiatives that align with the organization’s commitment to safe, reliable, and community-focused electricity distribution across rural Alberta.
Keri has been part of EQUS for almost six years, where she most recently served as Business Services Leader – Human Resources for over four years. In this capacity, she drove employee relations, leadership initiatives, and organizational development programs that supported the cooperative’s mission. She also previously worked as a Human Resources Specialist at EQUS, focusing on employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations.
Alongside her corporate career, Keri served as Executive Director of the Gulls Give Foundation for more than two years, where she championed community development and philanthropic initiatives in Central Alberta.
Earlier, she held the role of Director of Human Resources at Odyssey House (GPWRA), overseeing HR functions and leadership programs for nearly three years.
Her professional journey began with Spartek Systems Inc., where she worked for more than seven years as an HR/Office Coordinator, gaining valuable experience in workforce management and organizational processes. Prior to that, Keri built a strong foundation in leadership and operations during her 14-year tenure as Assistant Manager at Costco Wholesale.
