Prior to joining Pierson Ferdinand LLP, Chris served as Vice President, Legal Operations at UnitedLex, where he led a global practice focused on outside counsel and legal spend management. He oversaw a team of 20 professionals leveraging AI-driven analytics to create efficiency and value for clients worldwide. His leadership was recognized when the collaboration between UBS and UnitedLex earned the 2025 ACC Value Champions award for innovation in legal services.
Before his stint at UnitedLex, he spent over four years as Director of Outside Counsel Management at Citi, where he transformed global legal operations through optimized fee arrangements and RFP programs, delivering significant cost savings across legal portfolios.
Chris also had a distinguished 10-year tenure at Reed Smith LLP, where he held several roles including Senior Director of Legal Operations and Director of Business Development. He played a key role in driving firm-wide profitability and innovation, notably initiating a collaboration with Wharton Customer Analytics to optimize legal service delivery.
Earlier in his career, Chris practiced law at Reed Smith LLP and served as a Consultant with leading firms such as Mercer, Aon Consulting, and PwC, where he specialized in healthcare strategy, self-funded insurance, and custom technology solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
