Dubai, UAE – Kieran Scott has been appointed as the new Vice President of Human Resources at Expo City Dubai. With over two decades of HR leadership experience, Scott is set to advance the company’s mission of sustainable living in an artistic environment.
Professional Journey of Kieran Scott
Before joining Expo City Dubai, Kieran Scott served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Nakheel from July 2019 to February 2024. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s hospitality and retail sectors, managing human resources strategies for significant real estate projects like Palm Jumeirah and The World Islands. His strategic initiatives significantly improved profitability in both room and food & beverage sectors and streamlined HR operations across multiple subsidiaries.
Prior to Nakheel, Scott was a vital HRD Consultant for Red Blue Blur Ideas (RBBi) from November 2018 to July 2019. At RBBi, he was instrumental in setting up HR frameworks and recruiting for high-demand tech roles, shaping the company’s culture around new corporate values.
Before RBBi, Scott excelled as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Acino Pharma AG, where from September 2013 to November 2018, he developed and implemented a global HR strategy across diverse regions including the Middle East, Africa, and South America. His leadership was crucial in acquiring and integrating pharmaceutical companies, enhancing global operations, and fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity.
