Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, July 2025 – Kirk Henry has been appointed as the Group Chief Information Officer (Group CIO) at The ANSA McAL Group, one of the Caribbean’s most diversified conglomerates. In this strategic role, Kirk will lead the Group’s digital transformation journey across its 11 business sectors, strengthening technology governance, innovation, and enterprise-wide IT alignment.
Prior to this appointment, Kirk served as Chief Information and Digital Officer for the Banking Sector at The ANSA McAL Group, where he directed the end-to-end implementation of enterprise-level systems, executed a seamless banking systems migration, and launched critical platforms including Core Banking, Card Management, and a Digital Banking solution. He also held the role of Chief Digital Officer at ANSA Bank, where he was instrumental in establishing infrastructure and governance frameworks that propelled the bank’s technology capabilities.
Kirk has held influential positions beyond ANSA McAL, including Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Digital Business and Technology Committee at the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where he provided policy-level digital leadership for national business initiatives. Earlier, he served as Director and Chairman of the IT Board Sub-Committee at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, contributing significantly to technology governance and strategic integration.
His leadership track includes his tenure as Chief Executive Officer at iGovTT, where he led national-level ICT initiatives for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He transformed service delivery by driving digital citizen engagement, launching secure payment frameworks, and stabilizing critical government infrastructure projects. Kirk also served as Head of Information Systems at Guardian General Insurance, where he enhanced ICT maturity and led a regional omnichannel transformation.
Earlier in his career, Kirk spent 18 years at Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation, rising to Assistant Vice President – ICT, where he led critical initiatives in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems. His legacy includes implementing the organization’s first Managed Security Services and driving stakeholder satisfaction through digital innovation.
