Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, United States, October 2025 — Birlasoft has announced the appointment of Komal Jain as Chief Executive Officer – Americas, where he will lead growth across the United States, Latin America, and Canada. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, he will focus on strengthening client relationships, driving innovation, and executing strategic investments to reinforce Birlasoft’s leadership position in key markets. His appointment marks a significant milestone in Birlasoft’s expansion journey and commitment to deepening client partnerships across the Americas.
Komal joins Birlasoft after an illustrious 23-year tenure at Infosys, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Industry Head for the High Tech, Telecommunications OEM, and Media sectors. In this role, he led large-scale digital transformation initiatives, enabling enterprises to embrace cloud adoption, advanced analytics, AI, and quantum computing. He also sponsored diversity and inclusion programs and contributed to risk management as part of Infosys’ Executive Council.
Previously, as Senior VP, Industry Head – High-Tech Business Unit, he played a critical role in scaling Infosys’ positioning in the technology ecosystem. During his tenure as Vice President and Industry Leader – High-Tech Vertical, he steered the vertical through the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering 24% YoY growth and securing major client wins by enabling digital acceleration.
Earlier in his career, Komal co-founded OnMobile Systems, Inc., an Infosys subsidiary, where he was part of the core team that incubated the startup in Fremont, California. This entrepreneurial phase saw him contribute to business planning, product definition, and go-to-market execution during the dot-com boom, a foundation that shaped his leadership journey.
