Dallas, Texas, United States, August 2025 – Komaladevi Velumani has been appointed as the HR Leader for North America, SSG ISO at Lenovo. In her new role, she will be based in Dallas, Texas, where she will lead Lenovo’s SSG ISO people strategy for the region while supporting executive leaders across Lenovo’s SSG Global Accounts and Worldwide SSG Segments & Channel.
Komala transitions into this role after successfully leading HR for Lenovo’s APAC SSG business, where she played a pivotal role in driving workforce strategy, organizational transformation, and culture-shaping initiatives. With this expanded mandate, she will now focus on enabling sales transformation, accelerating growth, and strengthening future-ready HR capabilities in one of Lenovo’s most strategic markets.
An award-winning HR leader with rich global experience across Lenovo, IBM, Deloitte, and Honeywell, Komala has built a strong track record of driving business transformation through people-first strategies. She has worked closely with senior leadership to implement enterprise-wide HR programs, shape organizational culture, and design agile structures across highly matrixed, global environments.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Komala is also an Erickson-certified coach who brings a coaching mindset to talent and leadership development. She has been recognized with accolades including Business World HR 40 Under 40, Economic Times HR Leader, Woman Achiever (HR Association of India), and the Most Influential HR Trailblazer of the Year.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai, and a B.E. in Electronics & Communication from Anna University, further strengthening her foundation as a leader who blends strategic vision with people-centric excellence.
