Baku, Azerbaijan, January 2026 — Krasimir Lazarov has been appointed as Managing Director at Carlsberg Azerbaijan, where he will lead the company’s business operations and strategic growth initiatives across the Azerbaijani market as part of the global Carlsberg Group network.
Krasimir Lazarov has taken on the role of Managing Director at Carlsberg Azerbaijan after building a distinguished commercial leadership career within the Carlsberg Group, where he spent nearly eight years in senior leadership roles based in Bulgaria. Prior to his appointment, he served as Director of Sales and Business Development, where he led market expansion strategies, channel development, and commercial transformation initiatives across the Bulgarian market.
Before this, he held the position of National Sales Manager – Modern Trade at Carlsberg Group, driving key retail partnerships, national account strategy, and modern trade channel performance across Bulgaria.
Earlier in his career, Krasimir served as National Sales Manager at Froneri Bulgaria and National Sales Manager at Chipita Bulgaria (Nestlé Ice Cream Bulgaria), leading national distribution strategy, retail partnerships, and sales execution frameworks.
He began his professional journey with Nestlé Bulgaria, where he progressed through leadership roles including Key Account Manager and Key Account Supervisor, developing deep expertise in trade marketing, customer strategy, and channel development.
