Boston, Massachusetts, United States, September 2025 – Kristen Chapin has taken on a new leadership role as Head of People & Culture at Kensington Investment Company (KIC). In this strategic position, she will lead the organization’s people strategy across its diverse investment portfolio, with a focus on cultivating culture, leadership development, talent alignment, and organizational effectiveness across the firm’s operations in Boston and Utah.
Prior to joining Kensington Investment Company, Kristen Chapin served for nearly four years at Clear Ballot Group, where she was Vice President, People Operations. In this role, she spearheaded organizational design initiatives, built strategic HR frameworks, and led efforts to scale people operations in a high-growth, mission-driven tech environment.
Before that, she worked with NVNA and Hospice, initially as Director of HR and later as Vice President, HR & People Strategy. During her three-year tenure, she developed people-first strategies to support a growing healthcare workforce and led initiatives in employee engagement, talent acquisition, and leadership coaching.
Earlier in her career, Kristen spent eight years at ezCater, where she held multiple leadership roles including Director of Talent Ops, Director of Caterer Satisfaction, and Director of Customer Experience. Her cross-functional leadership helped drive customer-centric culture, talent infrastructure, and operational excellence in one of Boston’s fastest-growing tech companies.
Kristen began her professional journey as the founder of Whirlwind Events, an event planning firm she ran successfully for a decade. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College (Boston), underscoring her academic foundation in strategic people leadership.
