Atlanta, Georgia, United States – November 2024 – Honeywell has appointed Kristy Serrano as the new Vice President of Human Resources, Building Automation Americas. With over four years at Honeywell, Kristy brings extensive experience in leading HR functions across multiple divisions, positioning her well to drive strategic human resources initiatives for the company’s Building Automation business.
Kristy’s journey with Honeywell began in May 2020 as the Global Human Resources Director for the Building Management Systems division. She progressed to Global Senior Director of HR for Building Management Systems & HBT CX, later advancing to Vice President of HR for Fire and Security. Her leadership across these roles has been marked by her commitment to advancing organizational capabilities and supporting business goals.
Prior to Honeywell, Kristy held significant roles at Eaton, including Global HR Director for the Lighting Division. There, she partnered with senior executives and led an HR team supporting 4,000 employees across multiple regions, focusing on operations, supply chain, and corporate functions.
Kristy’s career foundation was built through progressive HR roles in organizations such as University of Iowa, where she began her HR career, and Eaton, where she advanced through various development programs and HR leadership roles.
