Bedfordview, Gauteng, South Africa, August 2025 – Laeeqah Adams has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Infinity Brands, a fast-growing franchise management company. In her new role, she will lead the entire HR function, aligning people strategies with Infinity Brands’ ambitious business goals, including global expansion, while ensuring operational excellence and robust HR support for franchisees.
Most recently, Laeeqah Adams served as Group Senior HR Manager at KOT King of Tiles SA for over four years. She was instrumental in strengthening employee relations, leading recruitment and onboarding, driving performance management systems, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Her leadership also spanned employee engagement, payroll administration, training initiatives, and employment equity programs.
Prior to this, she was Director at Bamkele Abafazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd, where she spent more than three years managing HR, IR, and payroll outsourcing for diverse industries, including mining, manufacturing, entertainment, and financial services. She advised on recruitment, policy development, performance appraisals, disciplinary matters, CCMA cases, and retrenchments, while also supporting clients with compliance and training needs.
Earlier, she worked as an HR Consultant at Paulsen Industrial Labour Relations and Criminal Forensics, where she managed recruitment, disciplinary processes, CCMA cases, and payroll functions for clients across various sectors.
Her earlier career includes three years at Nedbank as an Attorney Liaison Officer, where she built expertise in compliance, employee relations, and operational support, as well as experience at Standard Bank as an Insolvency Officer, where she handled complex cases with precision and adherence to legal frameworks.
