Rootstown, Ohio, United States, March 2025 – Laura Good has joined Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) as Executive Director of Human Resources. In her new role, she will oversee strategic HR initiatives that support NEOMED’s mission of advancing education, research, and community service in health sciences. Her appointment reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening talent management, operational excellence, and employee engagement.
Before joining NEOMED, Good served for over 22 years at the University of Mount Union, where she held a series of progressive HR leadership positions. Most recently, she was Director of HRIS, Compensation and Benefits, leading key initiatives in HR systems, compensation planning, and benefits strategy.

Earlier roles at Mount Union included Assistant Director of Human Resources and Employee Benefits Manager, Assistant Director, Human Resources, and Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees. Across these roles, she demonstrated a consistent ability to align HR practices with institutional goals, while fostering a people-first culture.
In addition to her university leadership, Good currently serves as a Course Facilitator for eCornell’s HR Analytics Certificate Program, helping professionals across industries strengthen their data-driven HR decision-making skills.
