Leah Boyle Appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ascensus Specialties

Evans City, Pennsylvania, United States, June 2025 – Leah Boyle has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at Ascensus Specialties. As CHRO, she will be responsible for the company’s talent and organization strategies supporting the company’s global team of approximately 300 employees. Leah will provide leadership for talent management and acquisition; leadership development; rewards; organizational effectiveness, people data/analytics and employee relations. She will remain a member of the Ascensus Executive Leadership Committee, reporting directly to the CEO.

Leah has been a key member of the Ascensus Specialties team for nearly eight years, most recently serving as Vice President Human Resources. In this role, she led the company’s HR strategies, fostering a people-first culture and playing a vital part in shaping Ascensus’ organizational effectiveness.

Previously, Leah held the role of Human Resources Director at Ascensus, where she contributed to policy development and talent initiatives during a period of significant company growth. Before joining Ascensus, she was Manager, Human Resources at WESCO Distribution in the Greater Pittsburgh region, supporting the alignment of people strategy with business objectives and driving multiple human capital programs.

Leah’s earlier experience includes seven years as Director of Human Resources at PLS Logistics Services, where she helped scale the HR function to support rapid business expansion. She began her HR career as Payroll/Benefits Manager at ServiceLink, managing all aspects of payroll and benefits for a major financial services platform.

She holds a Master’s in Human Resources from Robert Morris University.
