Leah Jackson Appointed as Senior Director of HR Operations at Glanbia Nutritionals

Glanbia Nutritionals has announced the appointment of Leah Jackson as the new Senior Director of HR Operations. Jackson brings over two decades of extensive human resources experience to her new role at the company’s New Mexico location.

Leah Jackson has most recently served as the Director of HR Dairy Operations for Southwest Cheese, a subsidiary of Glanbia Nutritionals, where she honed her skills over an impressive tenure of 11 years and 5 months. Her responsibilities included overseeing HR operations across multiple states including Idaho, New Mexico, and Michigan, focusing on performance management, talent management, and leadership development.

Prior to her long-standing role at Southwest Cheese, Jackson was the Director of HR Operations West, where she partnered with business leaders to execute HR strategies and enhance workforce planning and career development from December 2016 to November 2018. Before ascending to these senior positions, she was a Senior Human Resource Manager at Southwest Cheese Co., LLC, from December 2012 to December 2016. In this capacity, she directed strategic HR initiatives including employee relations, compensation administration, and training and development.

Her earlier roles included positions as HR Manager at RTS – Restaurant Technology Services from 2010 to 2012, where she was pivotal in implementing HR support across various business functions, and as Director of Shared Services at American Medical Alert from 2007 to 2009. Here, she led the development of shared services strategies and managed call center operations effectively. Jackson’s career also includes a significant stint as an Area Manager at AT&T from 1998 to 2000, focusing on call center operations and customer experience improvement.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
