LeDap announced the appointment of Mads Ryder as their new CEO. He has a has a strong background varying from the consumer and retail sectors to entertainment and manufacturing.
Welcoming him on board, the Chairperson of the Boards of Directors of LeDap, Per Agebäck, said, “Mads Ryder’s broad understanding across both consumer products, membership-driven businesses, manufacturing as well as entertainment corresponds very well with LeDap’s ecosystem of verticals. His international leadership experience will also be an asset as LeDap continues to grow across markets with different prerequisites”.
Extending his faith in the group, newly-appointed CEO, Mads Ryder said, “I am pleased about this exciting opportunity and to join the excellent team at LeDap. The sport of padel is rapidly establishing itself across Europe and the world. LeDap has quickly positioned itself as a market leader within the ecosystem and has impressively played both offence and defence across several markets and verticals during its first years. I very much look forward to bringing my experience and energy to the company and, together with the team, taking LeDap to the next level.”
Before taking up this position, Ryder was the CEO of Rosenthal, one of Europe´s largest porcelain manufacturers and retailers. Besides this role, he has also held executive and leadership roles within Royal Copenhagen, Weight Watchers and Legoland Parks.
Meanwhile, Calvin Anderson, who has been interim CEO since November 2023, will remain with LeDap in the role of Head of Place of Play globally. At the same time, Cecilia Corsini will assume the role of Managing Director of LeDap’s court manufacturing business, MejorSet.
The Chairperson also said that through this B2B business, the company aims to support anyone opening a Padel club with additional products and services.
