Before joining BPESA, Lee-Anne served as Senior Finance Manager at the Maternal, Adolescent and Child Health (MatCH) Institute, a leading organization advancing healthcare research and implementation across South Africa. Over nearly six years, she played a critical role in strengthening financial controls, donor reporting, and audit compliance, ensuring the financial sustainability of multiple health initiatives.

Prior to that, she held the role of Finance and Operations Lead at Equator – The Belt Factory, where she streamlined operational processes, enhanced reporting structures, and optimized budgetary planning to support business efficiency and growth.

Earlier in her career, Lee-Anne spent a decade at KPMG South Africa, where she rose to the position of Associate Director. During her tenure, she led complex audit and advisory engagements, particularly within the Development Advisory Services division, providing financial oversight, governance consulting, and donor-funded project assurance across various sectors. Her time at KPMG shaped her strong foundation in strategic finance, risk management, and accountability frameworks.
