Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, November 2024 – Leigh Hillier has been appointed as Head of People – AusPac at Aggreko, where they will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of the company’s people and culture function across the Australia-Pacific region. Leigh will collaborate closely with senior leaders to shape a people strategy that aligns with Aggreko’s business goals, drives commercial performance, and fosters a culture of innovation and excellence.
Leigh Hillier brings nearly two decades of human resources leadership experience. Most recently, Leigh served at BAE Systems Australia as Project Lead – HR Evolve, where they spearheaded global HR transformation activities, ensuring alignment between HR processes, technology, and business requirements. Prior to this, Leigh held the position of Head of People Operations at BAE Systems Australia, overseeing HR operations, advisory functions, talent acquisition, and employee services.
Earlier in their career, Leigh held roles including Head of Human Resources – Functions (Acting) and Human Resources Manager at BAE Systems Australia, where they contributed to organizational redesigns, talent strategy, and leadership development. At Monash College, Leigh served as Manager Employee Relations, leading employment relations, remuneration, and workforce planning to support the organization’s strategic objectives.
Leigh’s extensive experience spans across sectors, with notable roles at Q-COMP and WorkCover Queensland, where they provided HR advisory services, performance management, and employee relations solutions that strengthened organizational capabilities.
