Doha, Qatar, August 2025 – Lina Shehadeh has taken on the role of Group Chief Marketing Officer at GWC, Qatar’s leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider. With a track record of building global brands, leading marketing transformation, and delivering measurable growth across the Middle East, Lina’s appointment signals GWC’s continued focus on integrated communications and global brand leadership as it expands its logistics and innovation footprint.
Prior to joining GWC, Lina Shehadeh was a Fellow at the Royal Academy of Management in Oman, and also worked as an Independent Consultant, advising the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on marketing and media strategies. Before that, she served at ASYAD Group for nearly seven years, rising to the role of Group SVP after serving as Group Vice President of Marketing and Communications, where she led marketing transformation, strategic communications, brand building, and stakeholder engagement across Oman’s flagship logistics platform.
Earlier, Lina served as COO at Allympiapass and Wamda Capital, where she played key roles in brand positioning, digital adoption, stakeholder relations, and executive communications across fitness and investment verticals.
Lina also held a pivotal role as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications at United Arab Bank, where she established the bank’s social media presence, pioneered lead-gen strategies, and was recognized by Facebook as one of the most optimized channels in the region.
She spent over six years at Aramex, serving as Global Chief Marketing Officer, where she led the company’s global rebranding, digital retail transformation, and communication strategies. Lina is credited with launching Aramex’s award-winning social media blueprint, transforming it into one of the region’s most recognizable logistics brands.
Her earlier leadership roles include creative direction and strategic communication leadership at TBWA Jordan, Nuwa Communications, and Silk Road Designs.
