Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2024 – Lipika Verma has transitioned to a new role as Vice President-Human Resources and Business Partnering for Commercial Business at Schneider Electric.
Following a successful stint in Global Rewards, Lipika will now lead HR Business Partnering for the Sales & Marketing organization across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, which is part of International Operations. She will also manage operations in these regions and spearhead key HR initiatives for India.
With over two decades of experience, Lipika brings a wealth of knowledge in HR leadership and strategic management. Lipika Verma has been with Schneider Electric for over 11 years now. Before this transition, she served as Vice President-Rewards & Performance Innovation & Thought Leadership for about 3.5 years, driving global HR transformational topics.
Prior to that, Lipika was the Director Rewards, Global Supply Chain. She also led the Rewards Transformation for India & Pacific and was the Wellbeing HR Leader at Schneider Electric India for almost 8 years. She was responsible for the Wellbeing & Total Rewards strategy for India & Pacific, driving people strategy, and implementing transformational HR changes.
Lipika’s earlier career includes roles such as Vice President, Human Resources at GE Capital for about 2 years and HR Leader at Nokia India Pvt. Ltd. for approximately 7 years. She also held the position of Human Resources Manager at ESPN STAR Sports for around 3 years, and HR Manager at Nortel Networks.
Her professional journey began with roles such as Senior Executive-Human Resources at Hughes Escorts Communications Limited for approximately 2 years, and HR Executive at Hughes Tele.com in Mumbai.
