Charlotte, North Carolina, August 2024 – Lisa M. Yankie has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Odyssey Logistics. In her new position, Lisa will oversee global HR strategies and functions, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering sustainable multimodal logistics solutions across its vast network. Her leadership will be instrumental in driving the human capital agenda to support Odyssey Logistics’ growth and operational excellence.
Before joining Odyssey Logistics, Lisa served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Dentsply Sirona for five years. During her tenure, she was accountable for the HR strategy of the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, Lisa played a crucial role in driving cultural transformation, leadership development, and talent management across a global workforce of 15,000 employees in 90 countries.
Prior to her role at Dentsply Sirona, Lisa was the Vice President of Human Resources at Domtar for three years. She was responsible for the HR functions of the company’s largest division, which employed 10,000 people and generated $5 billion in revenue. Her strategic leadership in this role was key to improving employee relations, driving HR transformation, and implementing succession planning initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Lisa spent six years as Vice President of Human Resources at SPX FLOW, Inc., where she directed HR operations across the company’s largest region. Her efforts in leading the HR processes during the company’s spinoff were pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining organizational effectiveness.
In addition, Lisa held senior HR roles at Dana Incorporated and Bank of America, where she was responsible for driving HR strategies in complex, high-growth environments. Her career began at Ford Motor Company, where she spent 11 years in various HR leadership roles, including global HR management, which provided her with a strong foundation in human resources and leadership coaching.
