Singapore — Loh Shu Ching has recently taken the helm as Chief of Community Care, Population Health Campus at the National Healthcare Group (NHG). In her new role, Loh is set to lead community care services for over 1.5 million residents in Central North Singapore. Her responsibilities will encompass Preventive Health and Wellness, School and Workplace Health, Community and Aged Care, as well as managing care transitions between hospital and community settings.
Prior to joining NHG, Loh served as the Executive Director of the Division for Central Health at Tan Tock Seng Hospital from May 2018 to April 2024. Here, she played a pivotal role in integrating public health and community care sectors within the region, enhancing the health outcomes of the local community.
From April 2011 to April 2018, Loh was the Chief Executive Officer of Ren Ci Hospital where she oversaw the strategic direction and operational efficiency of an Intermediate and Long Term Care provider. This role included coordination with government agencies and partners to secure funding and further the hospital’s mission.
Earlier, she led the Home Nursing Foundation as General Manager, where she managed a team dedicated to providing essential nursing services to homebound individuals. Her extensive background in healthcare management is supported by previous roles at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where she developed expertise in operations and casemix management from April 2007 to March 2009.
