Taunton, Massachusetts, United States, July 2025 – Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) has announced the appointment of Lois Gordon, PHR, as Vice President & Human Resources Business Partner. In her new role, Lois will focus on aligning HR strategies with business goals, improving HR data accuracy and governance, advancing the Bank’s performance management culture, and leading talent initiatives including succession planning, organizational design, staffing optimization, and employee engagement.
Lois Gordon brings over a decade of human resources leadership experience spanning the financial services, retail, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she served as Regional HR Manager at Forever 21, where she led people operations for stores across multiple geographies. Prior to that, she was HR Business Partner with Brookline Bancorp, driving strategic HR initiatives to support business growth and workforce planning.
Earlier, Lois held the role of People and Culture Leader at IKEA Group in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and worked as an HR Generalist at Blue Hills Bank, where she supported talent acquisition and employee engagement efforts. She began her HR journey at Target as an Executive Team Leader, where she was selected for their elite leadership development program, and later served as a leader on the sales floor while actively contributing to the Red Sox Foundation’s community efforts.
She also held operational and HR roles at organizations including RadioShack, Olympia Sports Corporation, and Wheaton College, building a strong foundation in employee engagement, recruitment, and cross-functional team support.
Lois holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification and earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in American Studies and Finance from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. She resides in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
