Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, March 2026 – Solara Active Pharma Sciences has appointed Mohanraj S as Executive Director & Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its global footprint in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) industry. In his new role, Mohanraj will lead the company’s people strategy, culture transformation, and governance initiatives to align human capital with Solara’s long-term business objectives.
Prior to joining Solara Active Pharma Sciences, Mohanraj served as Human Resources Director at Silver Spark Apparel Limited (SSAL), Raymond Group, where he led the HR function for the apparel manufacturing vertical across domestic and international operations. In this role, he managed HR deliverables for a workforce of nearly 10,000 employees across five manufacturing units, leading a team of 65 HR professionals while working in a matrix structure aligned with the group’s CHRO.
Earlier, Mohanraj held the position of Senior Director – Human Relations at Mylan Laboratories Limited, where he played a key role in strengthening employee relations and driving operational improvements across multiple locations. His tenure included leading complex industrial relations negotiations and concluding long-term settlements across several manufacturing plants while also introducing process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Prior to that, he served as Vice President – HR (Corporate) at The Manipal Group, where he re-established the HR function through structural reforms, introduced strategic systems, and launched the “MANTHAN” learning initiative to support employee development. His earlier career includes leadership roles with Tata Advanced Materials Ltd, Anglo-French Drugs & Industries Ltd, Geneva Fine Punch Enclosures, Global Green Company Limited, Biocon, and Strides Arcolab Limited, where he built extensive expertise across industrial relations, HR transformation, workforce development, and HR operations in manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors.
