Dublin, Ireland, March 2025 – Diageo has announced the appointment of Louise Ryan as Managing Director of Diageo Ireland, effective 1st June 2025. Louise brings extensive experience from the global spirits industry and will lead Diageo’s operations, people strategy, and commercial performance across Ireland.
She joins Diageo from Pernod Ricard, where she has held several high-impact leadership roles over the past 13 years, most recently serving as Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Nordics. Based in Stockholm, she led the group’s growth and strategic direction across the Nordic region, focusing on innovation, performance, and talent development.

Before that, Louise served as Managing Director of The Gin Hub, where she led the global growth of major gin brands under Pernod Ricard from London for over five years. Her earlier roles include Managing Director and Strategy & Insights Director at Irish Distillers (Pernod Ricard), where she was based in Dublin and led commercial and strategic initiatives for the Irish market.
Louise also worked as a Sales & Marketing Consultant for several leading FMCG and retail clients, and began her career with Mars Ireland, where she held progressively senior roles for over 13 years, including Commercial Director and Marketing Director positions across the company’s food, pet care, and confectionery divisions. Her deep commercial expertise and people-first leadership style position her well to guide Diageo Ireland into its next phase of growth.
