New York, United States ,March 2026 — Lucrecia Borgonovo has begun her next chapter as Chief People Officer at Victoria’s Secret & Co. This appointment marks a significant milestone in her distinguished global human resources career and positions her to help shape the company’s people strategy, leadership culture, and organizational effectiveness across its international footprint. With extensive experience across talent, capability building, organizational development, and HR business partnership, she brings a rich and well-rounded perspective to the role.
Before joining Victoria’s Secret & Co., Lucrecia Borgonovo spent more than eight years at Mastercard, where she most recently served as Chief Talent and Organizational Effectiveness Officer in New York, United States. In this role, she led key talent and organizational priorities for the company, contributing to leadership effectiveness, capability development, and broader people strategy. Prior to that, she served as EVP, People & Capability Business Partner, further strengthening her experience in aligning people and business priorities within a global enterprise.
Earlier, she was associated with Nike as VP HR Emerging Markets / Asia Pacific Latin America in Beaverton, Oregon. This role added significant international depth to her HR leadership profile, with responsibility across multiple high-growth and strategically important regions. Before rejoining Mastercard, she also served as SVP, Human Resources, Global Core Products at the company, bringing senior HR leadership experience within a major global financial services organization.
A major part of Lucrecia Borgonovo’s career was built at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she spent over thirteen years in a broad range of human resources leadership roles. During this time, she served as Executive Director, Human Resources, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing; Director, Human Resources, Japan, Canada and Asia Pacific; Associate Director, Human Resources; Simplification and Engagement Project Manager; Associate Director, Talent Management and Acquisition, Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific; and Associate Director, Leadership & Organizational Development China. She also held roles as Manager Human Resources across several business areas in US Pharmaceuticals and was part of the company’s Human Resources Associate Program, where she completed multiple HR rotations. These assignments gave her deep experience across talent management, acquisition, organizational development, manufacturing HR, regional HR leadership, and business partnership.
With leadership experience spanning global financial services, consumer brands, sportswear, and pharmaceuticals, Lucrecia Borgonovo brings a highly international and cross-sector perspective to Victoria’s Secret & Co. Her career reflects a strong track record in building people capability, leading organizational change, and partnering with businesses across markets and functions. Her appointment is expected to support the company’s continued focus on empowering its workforce and strengthening its people agenda globally.
